This project involved a comprehensive roof ice dam removal on a traditional wood-sided home experiencing heavy winter weather. Initially, significant snow accumulation had formed solid ice barriers along the rooflines, posing a serious risk of structural strain and internal water leaks. Consequently, the team carefully accessed the upper elevations to break down and clear the frozen blockages without damaging the underlying architectural shingles. Furthermore, the surrounding overhangs and valleys were cleared to restore proper drainage pathways. Ultimately, this meticulous process mitigated the immediate threat of water intrusion, preserving the integrity of the property throughout the remainder of the harsh winter season.
